About me

I'm Daphne Riddle: a musical theatre performer born and raised in the heart of Oregon wine country. I am set to graduate with my BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University, and I love all things pink, sparkly, and just a little bit extra!

As the oldest of four, I always had younger siblings around to cast in my elaborate living room dances and performances, and that soon translated into a love for the theatre. A role in the play The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at the age of 9 was all I needed to be completely swept up by the world of singing, dancing, and acting.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Point Park and have performed in roles such as Wendy/Rosa U/S in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Vera in the world premiere of Boo’s Halloween House Party, Sarah Nurse in Salem: A New Musical, and Leading Lady in Jerry’s Girls. Theatre has always been the place where I found fierce and authentic community, and I am committed to inclusive storytelling and authentic portrayal of queer narratives. Point Park has provided me with well rounded training in all three disciplines, and relationships with my peers that will last a lifetime.

Despite my love for the bright lights, I love cozy activities such as reading, crafting, and watching movies. You can often catch me enjoying a crisp glass of Pinot Grigio on the couch with my besties! I am very close with my family, and though I am far from them in distance, they are always on my mind (and usually on the phone).
